The clinic is situated about 8km outside Ghent. If you want to enjoy the stunning city of Ghent we recommend a hotel in the city center, close to the consultation clinic (Coupure). If you prefer the be in a quiet environment you can choose an hotel close to the operation clinic (EMC2).
People that come alone, we advise to take an hotel were they can eat, or an appartement were they have the opportunity to take care of themselves (you can store food in the refrigerator, warm something in the microwave, put some cooling elements in the deepfreeze). A bed and breakfast is not a good option for somebody who is alone (except a bed and breakfast studio, which has the best of the two worlds: privacy and some help).
