These provisions are applicable to all treatments performed by Agave Clinic, even where no treatment agreement has been signed.
In the event of complications arising from a treatment performed by Agave Clinic, the patient must always contact Agave Clinic.
The consequences of complications arising from treatments are for the risk of the patient, unless the treatment has clearly involved ignorance or negligence.
Agave Clinic cannot under any circumstances whatsoever be held liable for the costs of treatment by any party other than an Agave Clinic employee, unless Agave Clinic has granted written consent for another practitioner to become involved in the treatment. Only costs notified by such a practitioner to Agave Clinic in advance and for which Agave Clinic has granted written approval, shall be reimbursed. Other costs shall be for the account and risk of the patient.
The costs of travel and accommodation for the consultation and/or treatment shall under all circumstances be for the account of the patient.
If a patient is dissatisfied with the result of a treatment then we will be willing, if so desired, to perform the treatment once again without charging a fee. The costs of using the operation room and (if applicable) of admission and materials will be for the account of the patient and must be paid 14 days in advance of the treatment.
Of course, in case of surgeon error or clearly unsatisfactory results, you don’t have to pay anything.
Life long guarantee for implants and implant superstructures
Implants and implant superstructures are covered by a lifetime warranty, which means that in the event of the loss of the implant and/or superstructure the sums paid for the fitting of the implant and/or superstructure will be refunded.
If the patient wishes a new implant or implant superstructure then he/she must pay all the associated costs.
This warranty does not cover:
implants for smokers
implants that were accompanied by a(n) (artificial) bone transplant
fractures in porcelain, zirconium or similar materials that in the opinion of an Agave Clinic employee can be reground or repaired; this repair will be performed free of charge;
loss due to an accident or extreme pressure;
superstructures on which acrylic has been used; these should be regarded as temporary facilities for which no guarantee whatsoever can be given;
an implant for which an Agave Clinic employee has given advance written notice that it does not fall within the warranty due to the heightened risk.
Damage to elements adjacent to implants shall be for the account and risk of the patient.
