Dr Daniel Simon obtained his degree as "Master in Dentistry" from the University of Gent - Belgium. He started his training in Oral Surgery in San Paulo in January 2001.
He began specializing in Oral Surgery and Facial Anatomic Surgery and in 2002 he took up a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology at Campinas County Hospital in San Paulo. He furthered his career by moving to Belgium in 2005 undertaking a fellowship in the Dept of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Eewfeest clinic, Antwerp.
He further trained in cleft lip and palatal surgery being part of the European Cleft Lip and Palate Foundation (E.C.L.P.F.) team in Vietnam and Kenia.
