Tooth whitening is a simple procedure:
The treatment starts with a toothcleaning. Tartar will be removed and your teeth polished.
A gel containing H2O2 (Hydrogen Peroxide) is applied to your teeth. The light from the Luma Cool lamp accelerates the break-down of H2O2. The resulting free Oxygen molecules penetrate the enamel and dissolve the molecules that cause the staining and discolorization of the teeth. This will take 8 minutes. After that the whole procedure will be repeated 2 times.
The whitening effect will last for at least 6 months. As the treatment doesn’t damage your teeth in any way it can be repeated as often as you want.
